Arch Linux is a Linux Distribution for power users. It runs on computers that
have an i686 (Intel Pentium 2) and later, and there is also a 64 bit version
(known as x86_64) available as well.
Although Arch Linux only installs the Base system from the CD, you can then add
extra programs by using their package manager known as Pacman, and there are
repositories for extra/ and community/ which are constantly updated.
For those already using a Linux distribution, there is a script named arch-script.sh
to download and run. It creates the folder ~/archlinux in your /home directory,
then downloads various Archlinux programs to your hard drive.
